ITALENTCAST MAKES CASTING A BREEZE

Available on your computer and as an iPhone app, Adstream is pleased to announce the launch of iTalentCast (iTC).

iTalentCast is a unique online auditioning and casting tool, complemented by an iPhone app, that allows talent to audition for roles from virtually anywhere and industry professionals to easily watch auditions from any device with web browser access.

“Time is money, as they say, and iTalentCast gives those in the casting business a real advantage,” Adstream Managing Director, Peter Miller, said.

Industry professionals can post jobs by entering a performance brief and sample script. The system then filters through the talent to find those that match the posting and notifies them via email or SMS. Actors and performers respond to postings by recording and uploading their audition via the app or website for review by the person who posted the job.

The system enables agencies and advertisers to shortlist their favourites, add comments and even share auditions with directors, clients and creatives.

Once the talent is cast, their agent can be contacted and the booking made.

“It’s often difficult getting time in diaries for everyone to be in the same place at the same time, so being able to cast a job from your desk is an incredible benefit for people who are time poor,” Miller said.

“iTC is also a win for the talent who often have to drop everything to rush across town for an audition. With the application on their iPhones, they can audition for a job from anywhere in the world.”
